merdeka non-fiasco

(warning, drama invoked boring post ahead)

i am just recovering from a super duper long weekend.. 5 days off :)

went to 789 on wed nite to help host puya's cousin, elham, who's in town for a week. we tried chilling at heritage after that, but was kinda boring.

i had to take off on thurs to send my mum to the doctors and make sure she gets all her med check ups. because she wouldn't do it unless i push her to. and also because she sprained her back, i ain't letting her drive either.. so who's got to be the driver?

thurs nite is also the eve of our national day. to the lot of us, it means party time!! i went to my usual place, zeta bar, and met up with the usual gang; audrey, khing, and some others.. friends who joined me were alex, jayan and his friends.

zeta being my usual watering hole, i bump into loads of other friends there and was basically gallivanting from one table to another. i had a fabulous time. just one of those nights where it was fantastic for ME, not just another fabulous clubbing night. u know what i mean?

friday was national day, and also my dad's bday. i wished him the night before via sms.. his reply was "thanks, who's this?" *shocked* hello, u don't have ur own daughter's number?? it turns out, my dad saved my number 6 times in his phone, that's why the name doesn't appear -_-

anyways, we took my grandma out for a really delicious dinner near her house. and also visited my cousin's new house. dinner ended by 10pm and i was bored already..

where else did i go, but to zeta again.. and bump into my ex-college mate and her colleagues. had a great time grooving on the dancefloor.

it was the band's last weekend, i had to go see them, of course. i promised them i'll show up again on sat nite..

except..

i also promised another friend that i'll be in town to party as well.

sat nite, i went to zeta for one set, as i promised.. said good bye to the band. they played my fav song as a good bye note. and then set off for town to join jason, surech, elham, puya and some others..

didn't exactly party much, just drink and chat at ceylon bar. should have gone back to zeta *sigh* oh well.. picked up dalon from luna bar and got to heritage row too late.

went for bak kut teh instead. got home at 5.30am completely exhausted.

got up at noon the next day, as i promised dalon, we'll have lunch.. plus he had a special package to deliver for me ;)

we had pancakes at the curve.
scrumptious delicious pancakes.

went grocery shopping, as was suppose to cook for my god daughters. was feeling quite exhausted when i got home in the evening.. thought i take a nap before going over to cook.

i got up feeling aches all over, but didn't really bother about it, and drove over to my god daughters' house. i crashed after that..

my fever started rising, and i was lying on the couch feeling hot & cold. the girls didn't really know what to do except feed me water, panadol, and cover me in blanket.. as i couldn't really sweat to break the fever, i ended up crying in pain instead.

couldn't really get anyone to send me back soon enough, so i drove home slowly.

my bro was smart enough to alert my mum to quickly send me to the doctor as my temperature was quite scary.

got another day off work to recover, and was back to work only on tuesday afternoon.

honestly, i can't stand the drama that happens in my life sometimes.. i'm getting bored analysing them. the more i analyse, the more i wallow into them. what for?

what u read above is just the gist of the story. i'm not even writing the intricate details, not because it'll bore you, but because i don't want to 'hurt' any other parties.

think of my entry above as a flaky entry. cause that's what it is.

can i not be a drama mama? can i just live simply and not have to or be bothered by the drama?

writing it is becoming a bore, because every week, the same old drama happens, just with diff ppl and diff times.

i love my life as it is. i also hate my life as it is.
